2) What type of poetry performance?
- Customized performance ($1000 - $5000 range)
For the best, longest-lasting impression, we suggest a poetry performance customized for your specific audience and event. Éric L Farrell has written over 500 original poems and will choose the best ones to create a special presentation for your guests. Farrell will also put in the necessary preparation time to deliver it effectively and flawlessly, ensuring that your guests experience an amazing event that they'll never forget.
- Routine performance ($400 - $1000 range)
Eric L Farrell has a different set of poems he performs for different occasions, 13 different occasions to be exact. The set of poems (routine) that he'll perform at your event will depend on which of these 13 different categories best matches your event description and atmosphere. Although this is a step below having Farrell create a customized performance for your event, you'll still get a top quality peformance, guaranteed to impress your guests. For each of these routines, the poem selection is limited to a few of his crowd favorites and all routines are generally around 20-30 minutes long and may not be cut short or extended. K-12 School events often qualify for an extra discount. Select this option and then choose which category best fits your event.
- Sidewalks Are For Kids ($1500 range)
No, this show has nothing to do with kids. "Sidewalks Are For Kids" is just the name of this 2-hour stand-up poetry performance by Éric L Farrell, a "Sidewalk" being a metaphor. This performance will make you laugh, cry, frown, cheer, and shout as Farrell gives you his best all-out poetry performance, featuring elements of comedy, drama, sermon, rap, and romance. - Sunday Service Poetry
As a teen, Sunday morning service is where Éric L Farrell really began reciting his poetry. A wonderous thing would occur. Farrell would ask the pastor, "what would you like the poem to be about?" "However the Lord leads you" is always essentially the answer he received. And whatever church house he visited, surprisingly the Lord would make sure the poem and the preacher's message always complimented each other, although completely unplanned by either of them. That still happens today! Of course that's not something we can guarantee, but at the Lord's will it does usually happen. So whether you'd just like to add a little poetic flavor or break up the monotony of your your regular Sunday morning church service, Éric L Farrell is ready to share a poetic word to inspire and motivate your congregation. Any donation you'd like to offer is completely up to you or the congregation. Travel and lodge is only requested if necessary.

If you're at a Barbershop or Salon that would like to be added to Farrell's tour stops, send us your info. This will only notify us of the shop's existence and to inform Farrell that he is welcome to visit. Unfortunately, Farrell can not guarantee to stop at all shops and is unable to schedule visits unless he is officially booked under [Routine Performance] above.
